Adnet, the "Marble Village" in SalzburgerLand Adnet is located around 20 kilometers south of Salzburg. Amongst other things, Adnet is famous for its marble. In fact, Adnet Marble is not true marble in the geological sense, but rather limestone, though it is every bit as visually appealing as the real thing. If you wish to learn more about Adnet Marble, you might well want to pay a visit to the Marble Museum, founded in 1992. It is open from April until October.
